Leadership Philosophy

Technology Leadership Grounded in Business Operations

Frank Mueller is a technology and business-operations executive with decades of experience leading ERP, digital transformation, business intelligence, operational improvement, and technology strategy initiatives.

His career has centered on helping organizations translate business strategy and operational reality into systems, processes, controls, and decisions that produce measurable results.

Experience Across the Business, the Project, and the Technology

Across manufacturing, energy, consulting, managed technology services, and other complex operating environments, Frank has worked at the intersection of executive strategy, operational execution, data, and enterprise systems.

He has led technology organizations, governed ERP initiatives, built analytics capabilities, improved operational controls, negotiated software agreements, and helped organizations recover value from systems that were underperforming or poorly aligned with the business.

Those experiences exposed the same recurring gap: ERP projects often have capable executives, project managers, software vendors, and systems integrators, but no one is fully responsible for keeping the business, the project plan, the commercial agreements, and the technology aligned from beginning to end.

Why Frank Founded CatalistIQ

Frank founded CatalistIQ after seeing too many organizations enter ERP initiatives without the independent planning, commercial strategy, project controls, and oversight needed to protect the investment.

CatalistIQ was created to give executive teams a disciplined way to select the right systems and partners, negotiate stronger agreements, build an executable project plan, and maintain control through stabilization.

That work is supported by the CatalistIQ ERP Assurance Model and EXProv, the ERP implementation management platform developed to make the methodology repeatable.

Guide Role & Independence

Frank's experience bridging technology with operational metrics shaped the CatalistIQ methodology. Rather than operating as another systems integrator, CatalistIQ operates as a strictly neutral guide on the client’s behalf.

To ensure conflict-free representation, CatalistIQ does not sell ERP software licenses, receive integrator commission fees, or configure custom software code. We focus exclusively on governance, assurance, and protecting your transformation investment.
